Cheaters Never Win

Everyone has heard the saying, "Cheaters Never win, and winners never cheat." However this is not as easy to comprehend as it is to verbally say. This is mainly because the cheaters actually do win in the short run. Is it moral? Cheating or plagiarism of course, is not moral, but it is the easy way out to find success. Everyone thinks that the person who cheated/plagiarized is a hero until they find out what they did to become so successful. Why do people cheat then, people might ask? The answer lies in the fact that our society is so competitive to climb to the top, and be the best, that cheating or stealing someone else's work sometimes seems like the only way out. I however do not claim to be a cheater. Personally I find more gratification and personal fulfillment if I complete a task to the best of my ability, on my own.
This blog post is supposed to mainly reflect the cheating nature of plagiarism I am positive, considering this is an English class. However, cheating goes up and beyond stealing someones work of art. Cheating is in every aspect of life. Sports for instance is constantly tabloid filled with the new rising star being accused of performance enhancing drugs. Some musicians are pointed stern fingers at for stealing someone else's rift or beat to a song. IT'S EVERYWHERE.
As I mentioned, cheating or stealing is downright degrading. It makes the cheater or plagiarizer look bad, and it embarasses the person who they stole from. Overall, it is just an ugly situation to put yourself into. Think twice, cheat never.
